The short version: NotifyMe delivers alerts from the public to vehicle owners. We are a notification service only — not responsible for outcomes. Use the service safely and honestly. False reports and misuse will result in account termination.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using NotifyMeRV at notifymerv.com or notifymerv.ca — including creating an account, registering a vehicle, submitting an alert, or downloading our app — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms do not use the service.
These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and NotifyMe LLC, a Wyoming Limited Liability Company.
2. What NotifyMe Is — and Is Not
2.1 What NotifyMe Is
NotifyMe is a digital notification platform that enables members of the public to alert registered vehicle owners and property owners of safety concerns via SMS, email, and push notification. We provide a communication channel between reporters and registered owners.
2.2 What NotifyMe Is Not
NotifyMe is NOT an emergency service. NotifyMe is NOT a law enforcement tool. NotifyMe is NOT a surveillance platform. NotifyMe DOES NOT guarantee that alerts will prevent accidents or property damage. NotifyMe DOES NOT verify the accuracy of any report submitted by a reporter.
3. Safety Disclaimer — Please Read Carefully
The safety of you and others on the road is paramount. By using NotifyMeRV you acknowledge and agree that:
- Never read or respond to alerts while driving. All alerts should be reviewed only after pulling over safely at an appropriate location
- NotifyMe alert notifications may arrive while you are operating a vehicle. Configure your phone's driving mode or Do Not Disturb settings accordingly
- Responding to a vehicle safety concern should always be done safely — signal, check mirrors, find a safe location to stop before taking any action
- NotifyMe accepts no liability for any accident, injury, or loss arising from a user reading or responding to an alert while operating a vehicle
- If you believe your vehicle has a serious safety issue and cannot safely pull over — continue driving at a reduced speed and pull over at the earliest safe opportunity
4. Account Registration
To register a vehicle and receive alerts you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
- Be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent
- Register only vehicles you own or have authority to register
5. SMS Consent — TCPA
By providing your phone number during registration you expressly consent to receive automated SMS text message alerts from NotifyMe LLC using an automatic telephone dialing system or artificial or pre-recorded voice for the purpose of delivering vehicle and property safety alert notifications.

- Message and data rates may apply
- Reply STOP to any SMS to unsubscribe from SMS alerts
- Reply HELP for help
- You may also manage SMS preferences in your account settings
6. Email Consent — CASL and CAN-SPAM
By creating an account you consent to receive transactional email communications from NotifyMe LLC including alert notifications, account confirmations, subscription receipts, and renewal reminders. You may unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. Transactional alert emails cannot be fully disabled while your subscription is active as they are the core service you have purchased.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
7.1 Subscription Terms
- NotifyMeRV is an annual subscription service billed at $20.00 USD or $25.00 CAD per vehicle per year
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
- You will receive a renewal reminder email 30 days before renewal
- Payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers
7.2 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Your vehicle registration remains active until the billing period ends
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
7.3 Free Trial and Promotional Pricing
Promotional pricing and free trial offers are subject to specific terms communicated at the time of the offer. Founding member pricing is locked for life as long as the subscription remains active without lapsing.
8. Reporter Conduct
Anyone may submit a report about a registered vehicle without creating an account. By submitting a report you agree that:
- You are submitting the report in good faith based on something you genuinely observed
- You will not submit false, misleading, or malicious reports
- You will not use the alert system to harass, stalk, or intimidate vehicle owners
- You will not submit spam or automated reports
- You will not submit inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content in notes or photos
- You will not attempt to circumvent our anti-spam or rate limiting systems
- Reports submitted via the platform are subject to AI content moderation
We reserve the right to block any IP address or device from submitting further reports without notice.
9. Anti-Spam and Rate Limiting
To protect vehicle owners from harassment and control notification costs:
- The same device or IP address is limited to one alert notification per vehicle per two-hour window
- A maximum of five alert notifications per vehicle per hour applies regardless of reporter
- All reports are recorded in our system even when notifications are suppressed
- Reports including a photo or reporting a different issue type may override rate limits at our discretion
- For NotifyMeBins — three failed PIN attempts locks that device for 24 hours
10. Content Standards and Moderation
All content submitted through NotifyMe — including text notes and photos — must not:
- Be false, fraudulent, or misleading
- Contain hate speech, harassment, or threatening language
- Contain explicit, offensive, or inappropriate imagery
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe on any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
We use automated AI systems to moderate all submitted content. Content flagged as inappropriate will be blocked or held for review. We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account without notice for violations of these standards.
11. Photo Submissions
By submitting a photo through NotifyMe you grant NotifyMe LLC a limited license to store and deliver that photo to the registered owner of the reported vehicle for the purpose of communicating the reported safety concern. Photos are:
- Stored in a private encrypted cloud storage bucket
- Delivered only to the registered owner of the reported vehicle via the NotifyMe app
- Never shared publicly or with third parties beyond the intended recipient
- Retained for 90 days then permanently deleted
- Scanned by automated content moderation before storage or delivery
12. License Plate Lookup
License plate lookup is available only for vehicles whose owners have voluntarily registered their plate with NotifyMeRV. We do not access any government database or external license plate registry. Plate lookup returns only the confirmation that a matching registered vehicle exists — no owner information is returned. Use of the plate lookup feature for any purpose other than submitting a good faith safety report is prohibited.
13. Intellectual Property
NotifyMe™, NotifyMeRV™, NotifyMeFleet™, NotifyMeTrailer™, NotifyMeDriving™, and NotifyMeBins™ are trademarks of NotifyMe LLC filed with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. All platform content, code, design, and documentation are the property of NotifyMe LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
Important: NotifyMe LLC provides a notification service only. We make no warranties about the accuracy of reports submitted by third parties. We are not responsible for any outcome — including accidents, property damage, injury, or loss — related to or arising from the use of our service, the content of any alert, or any action taken or not taken in response to an alert. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The NotifyMeRV service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alerts will always be delivered within any specific timeframe. SMS and email delivery are subject to the availability and reliability of third-party carriers and service providers.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NotifyMe LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including legal fees — arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your submission of false or inappropriate content.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Saskatchewan. For US consumers, nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under applicable federal or state consumer protection laws.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered account holders of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to updated terms you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
19. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, abusive behavior, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.
